The Venice Afterburn is a daytime art and music festival in Venice Beach, California, and it's an official regional Burning Man event.
Artists are invited to bring their art cars, theme camps, burner bikes, interactive installations and other playa art for three days of magic by the beach. The event is free and family friendly, and runs each day until 10pm. We strongly encourage to show up early, to ensure full engagement and participation.
The 2021 edition took place on October 23rd and 24th. At the moment the 2022 edition does not have any set dates and we will update as soon as we know more.
The Venice Afterburn is produced by Los Angeles based non profit, Dogtown Artists United.

What does it all mean??
We love Burning Man and everything that it represents. Burning Man created a temporary city that exists once a year in the Nevada desert dedicated to community, art, self-expression, self-reliance. The Regional Networks want to keep that culture alive all year round and extend it to the 'default world'.
